MAISON MANUVIE – MODULO COLLECTION
Ivanhoé Cambridge wanted exclusive, distinctive furnishings for one of its buildings in downtown Montréal. Mobilier Ora commissioned Morelli for the custom design of a contemporary modular set with restrained, refined lines that strike a balance between solidity and lightness.
This was done on very short notice. We put our design, mechanical engineering and graphic design experts to work on the development of a furnishing scheme that nobody could say they’d ever seen before. We chose ipe wood (for its remarkable weather resistance) and aluminium (to prevent corrosion). Our set of modules featured a base that conceals the floor’s adjustment and anchor system.
