Agropur asked us to develop a plastic transport tray system for dairy product containers of different sizes that would meet the specifications of its business partner. Agropur also wanted to re-evaluate its existing solutions and develop new ones that would respect the links between their marketing, sales, operational, and design departments, manufacturers and suppliers.

Beginning with a needs review, we analyzed the company’s merchandising operations and moved on to a simulation of how finished plastic parts behaved during injection and at the mould exit. Our tray design met the client’s expectations and we went on to set up a management system that accelerated delivery. Working in concert with the manufacturer, we considered ergonomics, automated production, transportation, and cleaning issues.
